Here's what I think happened. She probably came in and was completely disrespectful. It escalated and he didn't know how to deal with it. He threatened her physically. But the truth of the matter is that threatening is a far cry from actually following through with it.

I have no doubt she would have conducted herself like an absolute self righteous twat and I'm sure that she disrespected him until he lost his temper.

Does that make it right? No.

But she has a history of being an absolute imbecile and I'm sure she has and had the ability to tip anyone over the edge.

Did he say something like "you could be pretty if you didn't shave your head and swear, and why do you wear those baggy clothes? Try on this camisole and wig and we'll go down to studio B and put your vocals on these Vanity 6 out-takes after we've taken a bath together" - It all got out of hand because she probably said "fuck you, you midget drag queen. Telling women how to dress when you like the way you do? Fuck you" This leads to him doing the Bela Lugosi eyes all up in her face and her pushing him and him pushing back and the fur flying.
