It makes me leery of ordering a "Purple Rain" mug. The least expensive shipping is $13.25 for 2-day shipping, so it's perplexing why you haven't received your order in 3 weeks. It's even more confusing because both mugs are tagged "pre-order." However, there's no mention of an expected ship date. As I understand it, most companies don't (or can't) charge your credit card until an order ships. Was your credit card charged? I love PRINCE, but the love is always in the details -- especially when dealing with loyal fans. We've all been disappointed so many times in the past that it makes it difficult to have any faith that the customer service will improve this time. This is what it sounds like "When Fans Cry"!

Why would things be any different? Prince doesn't have a good track record of handling retail stuff well and some fans are going to accept whatever is being offered anyway. Same reason he no longer does normal tours. He doesn't have to. He knows he can announce shows last minute and people will jump on a plane and cue in long lines.

Forget this...lets boycott all 3rdeyegirl items and functions (listening parties) until we get an album. lol How are you gonna delay my order and charge me near fifteen bucks for shipping and handling. Awww hell naw. I would have asked for a damn discount.

Yes, I was foolish enough to buy a Purple Rain mug and pay the exorbitant shipping fees. I ordered the mug on August 15 and still have not received it. (My credit card was charged $28.25 on August 18 -- $15 for the mug and $13.25 for shipping.) I have e-mailed customer service multiple times -- no response at all. I should have known better. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? I guess my next step is to dispute the charge.

The customer service is so terrible that it's almost like they're doing it on purpose...or, more likely, they don't even care. I love PRINCE, but will never understand his business practices. Most artists learn from experience, but it seems history just keeps repeating itself with him.

It's my experience that shipments may take as long as 30 days to arrive. Oh, and by the way, the item is smaller than an average size mug.
