....... and yeah the Lovesexy artwork is my fave, fantastic, so stylish, the Prince pic among those orchidé' flowers..... and I love the Lovesexy music too..... deeply.

I dig any cover that makes people feel uncomfortable and challenges gender stereotypes. That was part of what made Lovesexy such a great cover. I agree .. I don't mind NPS or RAve art .. lotusflower is the kind of garbage I can't stand for packaging

I also like the Rave album cover.

Worst to me is probably Musicology or Lotusflow3r/MPLSoUND or 20Ten.

I've grown to like the Planet Earth artwork, btw.

I think it's a good "sequel" type of a release to 3121, which had an excellent cover (by Prince's late-career standards).

It was listed as one of the worst album covers of that year (was it RS, SPIN or Vibe magazine?). The writer commented that Prince had finally proceeded to shag the entire planet in the picture. I thought that was brilliant on its own right.

So the top worst covers are:

hmm i dont see why Rave is seen as such a bad cover tbh.

Its very simplistic and i think it just works i guess. I mean yeah, Prince could of possibly chosen a better hair style haha! But I think it fits its time era. There were a lot of funny fashions in the late '90s. Its very futuristic too, with its electric blue theme and the typography. Especially with the inlay with the picture of him in the pool and his hand is all 'digitised'.

It's not the outfit that's objectional - it's the whole design (and the contents of course )

i liked the whole rave package with the sheep .. blue and white style .. still kinda cool .. music was pretty bad tho .. couple of gems on that record .. man owar remix was cool ..

I've never really liked the Dirty Mind album cover. U can see Prince's pubes! Not attractive. HEE HEE.
