You mean that one time he sang that one song at that one place live? oh yeah it was on that one cd called something that everyone obviously knows exactly what you are talking about, so no need to be anything more than super vague. It actually really reminds me of that one time back then that he did that one thing that just blew everyone away. The one and only live rendition he did in St.Paul? It is indeed amazing. I like the song anyway, but the live version takes it to a whole different level. Great song, great musical arrangement, great lyrics. It is , in my opinion, the epitome of a mid 80s Prince song. I miss this kind of music from him. It is one of my all time favorite songs, ever.
