Has Prince ever played Le Grind live?

Just wondering as am having a loving reunion with The Black Album and still remember the shivers I felt the first time I heard "So u found me, good I'm glad, this is Prince..." On that rainy day in Camden Market

I reckon it would sound amazing live...

I don't think he has played it live in any form.

Only tracks I've heard live are Bob George, Superfunkicalifragisexy, Rock Hard In A Funky Place and When 2 R In Love. I would've loved to hear Cindy C live and 2 Nigs United 4 West Compton.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

That was played live on the One Night Alone tour. It's on the box set. It's pretty different from the TBA version though.

Yep--I have trouble seeing these as the same tune.

I've sooo wanted him to play this when he's been in London.

It shoulda been his opening track on the first night of his O2 shows.

"London, what does Big Ben say?"

Place woulda gone (even more) mental.

Wasn't the opening track on the first night "Come Together" by the Beatles?

Wouldn't hold out much hope now - either for playing it, or it sounding any good if he did. But oh man to hear him jam on this in '88 drool
