Killer guitar on Sign O' the Times from Montreux

During the sampler section, from last year's Montreux, Prince played a killer guitar riff during Sign O' the Times. Why are all his best guitar parts at concerts? He needs to take his guitar ideas in concert and put them into studio songs.

I mean that guitar riff during Sign O' the Times was the business! That's one of the best renditions of Sign O' the Times that I've ever heard. All his killer shit is live nowadays. Take some of the lightning, put it in a bottle and give it to us as new songs. The slowed down rock of Let's Go Crazy Reloaded should be a new song as well!

Cmon, P! Listen to your fans!

There is some guitar playing throughout the song, but it's Donna.

Prince didn't play guitar, during SOTT? Well, damn!

Donna's still in his group. So, take that riff and make it a song, I say.

If you're referring to the third night, he didn't play guitar during the sampler set. He was behind the deck the whole time covering his own face w/hand to avoid the fan and pro cameras... and saying "lights off! Lights off!" (his part of the stage). It was really odd watching him seem so personally avoidant...
