Or maybe even £15, I don't care.

RIP sad

I was saying that to someone just the other day! If the little bugger is all about the money then he us missing a chance - I'd pay up to £20 for audio of a gig I'd been to, £30 for video - if u add to that the cost of the ticket then that's £100 he gets if u include the ticket price. And who wouldn't want a decent soundboard from every tour he has ever done and I'd certainly pay £10 for each gig. Licence to print money there and he doesn't take it!

He's definitely not all about the money, I've never understood when people say that. He's seems more about control and protecting his work.

Agreed.

I'd like a nice little set for £40 or so. For example:

Shepherd's Bush
Acoustic set from Kings Lane (?)
Ronnie Scotts (preferably the first gig as it's a largely different setlist)
Manchester (Sat show)

I'd happily pay £10 for each or £40-50 for these in some kind of download set.

Again, agreed. Prince could make major money on a regular basis by releasing various soundboard concerts and other rare, unreleased albums to hardcore fans.

it is odd. i'd buy the shows too. and if prince released them for sale that would help prevent bootlegging as well. maybe he will......

Dude is clueless about good business practices. Dude is stuck in 1980s/major label-model.

You know, I've been watching crappy Vids with crappy audio, and I know the sound must be great because they all have great individual gear, so I'm with you.

.

But this is a bit of a cheap setup, small venues,"We'll see what the response is", ... sure still no excuse to NOT put out a DVD ? CD ? HD Sumfin'

.

I noticed they're all stumbling over each others guitar leads.

What no wiFi ?

Just waitin on the Disney Movie suppose. confused

~PClinuxOS~ yes I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ... thumbs up!
