personally, i don't care about these clips at all. i'm sure prince is good in them and all, but it's just a bit of acting and i'm not even going to look at the episode. since day one i've only been a fan for the music. so perhaps that goes for more people on here? i'm sure lots of people are like 'ah, pretty cool, prince on a tv show' but don't feel the need to discuss it or anything. plus, i watched that first trailer and i found it painful to watch it for all of it's 25 seconds. not for prince, prince was just fine. but the other dude urgh. now give me a new prince song and i'll be all over that, even if i happen to not like it

but before people bite my head off, let me explain: i'm not shitting on prince, i just don't like tv these days. so even prince can't convince me to watch any show i haven't read about and considered i might try. and that trailer clip has convinced me of that again. if that's comedy, i'll skip. everyone has different tastes.
if it was just another weird clip from paisley park with prince doing strange looks into the camera, trying to act his way out of a paper box, i would be all over it. heck i'd even pay him 1,88 for it

it's an improvement over the silly and often untrue things he used to be known for. i'd rather have the next album review open with "ping pong afficionado prince" than having to read "the artist formerly known as the artist formerly known as prince" or "the pint sized rocker" once more time
being known for liking pancakes and ping pong, and being able to joke about it is a step in the right direction.

After "officially" watching all the "New Girl" promos... Eye stand by first statement, that Prince will definitely win an Emmy 4 his special guest starring role in a sitcom, He was BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its a perfect start to the 30th anniversary of his Oscar winning debut role in the motion picture "Purple Rain"..........
