This was a terrible period for Prince fans.
This is when I cringed the most of his music, his band and his association with Larry Graham and Chaka Khan.
I would not go and see him in concert when he gave 2/3's of the show to the others.
I don't pay to see them at a Prince show.
Also, he started including Doug E Stale too. Horrible is the to describe this time of my life as a P fan.
This to me, was his downfall for his fans when he hooked up woth LG and the JW way. Yuck! "

Come On was the first commercial single to be released from the album Newpower Soul, by The New Power Generation.
It was released in North America, Australia, and Europe (The One had previously been available as a promo-only single in the USA).
The single included multiple remixes of Come On by  , Kirk Johnson and Doug E. Fresh.
The US edition was available through mail-order only directly from 1-800 New Funk and contained an additional track in addition of a remix of The One, unavailable on other editions.
While the US edition was not eligible for the charts, Come On reached only number 65 on the UK Gallup Singles Chart. - PrinceVault
