My favorite from that, I loved the song rendition more than the 'jam session 2nd half'

I love any and all renditions of that song though. Fun he didn't really include it in the main show

When shoulder pads ruled the world! I actually have a Prince shoulder pad strangely enough. It was from his shirt he threw into the crowd in 86 singing Electic Man. I caught it, but being young and naive I didn't whisk it staight down. It was in my hand for one second before the rabid fans around me rushed in like a pack of wolves tearing it apart. I was left with one shoulder pad. lol

Always found this show interesting for the fact he introduces his polka dot suit as one of the 'new friends'...interesting as he shelved this style for the upcoming tour in favour of the leather trench coat and denims along with peach & black attire before once again raiding the closet a year later for the LoveSexy polka dot era.

My DVD of this always gets really gippy around this part of the show as I've absolutely rinsed this song... easily in my top ten Prince live performances this track

The second I heard Prince's voice introducing everyone...in rehearsal...made me feel special that I was a part of it...even if that means listening to the bootleg cd in Los Angeles a year later...and even now in 2013...it's magical!

I love this show so much...still listen regularly. Strange Relationship is the highlight for sure. I also love this version of Girls & Boys as well.

He was trying to push some of the new(not so new) members ... like Cat

.

but the people that got the LOUDEST were Sheila E, Dr Fink, & Eric Leeds

.

Had 2 be a bit weird 4 Dr Fink I bet, even Sheila & Eric, because they performed and recorded with the Revolution since 1984/84 Dr Fink with certain band members since the beginning

.

I think it was a 1990 interview were it was obvious from Dr Finks words that things had drastically changed. And he commented on the motives of the new band members...

Something irreplacable of people who believed in you from before stardom, when you were recording/rehearsing in makeshift studios, no one knowing who you(Prince) were/was
