Hey, I'm interested in building up my Prince collection by (eventually) getting a copy og Rave In2 the Joy Fantastic. Could someone tell me if it comes in a plastic CD or is it the same as Rave Un2 the Joy. Because some copies of it can go for crazy money, how can one notice if there is a copy of it on ebay? Cheers

It comes in a standard jewel case with a single 2 sided card insert cover (album cover / sheep's wool text on reverse) and a full colour lyric booklet inside.

Have to say, the artwork is pretty damn good compared to most Prince albums, lots of cool pictures, the lyrics, etc.

Definitely worth getting if you can find a copy.

Man O' War is however better, the original version is better (from Rave Un2),

Therefor U should own both Rave Un2 + In2...

Worth shelling out the money for a legit copy. Its Rave Un2 The Joy, just funkier, and slamming.

As i recall it was $20 or less through the npgmc

Rave In2 also has a proper booklet, unlike the loose-leaf page/poster thingy included in Rave Un2.

I generally play a mash up of the two albums. Can't stand some the remixes, but like the extended versions.

Love the extended version of Baby Knows.

It's definitely better than Rave Un2. Glad I snapped it up from the web store back when it was sold at a reasonable price. It seems to go for nearly ten times what I paid for it these days! Should have bought a few more
