Unintentionally or not, this thread made me giggle. Thanks Fluid. If only Prince were big enough or young enough to make this all come true!

I think the D+P tour was probably the last one that could called a 'world tour' by any measure and it didn't stretch too far.

Okay...Huntsville & Birmingham, Alabama also please for a stop on the Prince train. Too many friends there that absolutely love him and life that need to see Prince there. So, Dear Creator please try to convince Prince that going South this time of year is a good thing...

I was thinking about flames and pyro. But Prince never does that. Don't know if he doesn't care or is scared of the pops. Well he can do without but it would be so fitting to have a curtain of falling fireworks that's purple during Purple Rain. Big show. VH1 would cover opening night as well as Access Hollywood. There"d be commercials, billboard, Many people do the end but the Houston, Las Vegas, Hamburg, and Seoul shows would be filmed for DVD-VCD. Maybe do a telivised concert for Christmas in Tel-Aviv.

Prince has had quite a bit of fire/flames in his shows... especially recently with 3rdEyeGirl.

Right, next time he might visit the Dutch Antiles island Curacao, could we put a wishing list for songs. I think it would be SO COOL if he would add I Wonder U & New Position to the setlist, imagine his band starting the tune with a REAL STEEL DRUM on stage! And can you imagine that joyful hornsection accompanying those tunes?

So, please pass the message. Grazie.

What do you mean it's not in the computer?

That's a great idea, we have a lot of talented musicians on the island. Curacao will get even more crazy if Prince puts a little Caribbean flavor in his show.

One of the horn players came to jam at a local beach bar (Kokomo beach) the day after the festival. I like to think they liked it here and will come back next year!

and as long as we're making requests: a little intimate after party after the festival would be awesome, I don't know if there was een after party jam last august (I could hardly walk after Prince show) but I will crawl to an after party if I have to !

I think Prince should do a good sized tour in 2014-15. It would be in stadiums and be average sized. It would take him to the prime continents of Europe , North America, Asia, and Australia.

It would be a huge set packed with tons lighting,3-4 HD screens,a unigue set design, surround soun, and lasers. Maybe Lenny Kravitz would open for him. Is Shenna Easton still big in Europe?

Maybe Cameo or Lakside. Dunno if George Clinton or The Time would sell anymore. The tour would begin June 7th in Russia on Prince's birthday.

You want to kill him??

That's a horrible schedule. Halfway, it's a tired and worn out bandleader and a band that get friction due to the tiredness and boring repetition. (although there cam be joy in repetition)

Would be nice if everybody can be happy and energetic on stage, in stead of worn out.

I think medium size venues are better than the stadiums concerts. I doubt if these will sell out in this economy.

But a good show, with awesome video and light effects would be cool.

Imagine Rosie coming back!! dancing jig

And of course with jaw dropping eccentric but beautiful dressed Prince + band.

I'm looking forward to the threads about Shelby on the foreground, my bet is on her getting critic for not being a back ground singer wink

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

To make this even more ridiculous sounding, Melbourne is some 25 degrees of latitude south of Darwin, thats like having Prince play Winnipeg on one night and then play Key West the next!!!

I enjoy the grandiosity of these tour ideas, but there is no way Prince would be alllowed to play mainland China venues - if he even wanted to.

Hong Kong or, more likely, the Venetian in Macau, sure. Across the border (sorry, "boundary")? Not going to happen.

Hey, I just noticed you did the same excursion-to-Darwin thing with China... smile

Guangzhou is 2 hours from HK by train. Shanghai is another 18 hours due north.

Good point, make April 30th Guangzhou show, then a three night stand in Shanghai 2, 3, 5. And then 7th in Beijing.

The main reason for this tour is for him to play countries he has never been too. So these are New Zealand (Which really frustrates me), Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, PRC, Taiwan and South Korea and Russia. These place would have heaps of fans and people who just want a night of some great music from a great showman.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
