I live close to Paisley Park too and it's true that most of the time these days, it is notbeing used like it used too. But, like some posters have said, he WAS just here earlier this summer rehearsing for his west coastand inernational tour that he is doing right now. There were a coupld parties, video filmed, and some live broadcasting from there too. When he is not using the facilities, it is rented out to Bands to record and rehearse. The band Fun. were here this spring I think rehearsing for their world tour which started here in Minneapolis. That was when Prince did his Dakota shows. He had to rent out The Dakota for his shows because Fun. were using the soundstage for rehearsals. So Paisley Park is being used on a regular basis, but the general public just don't know it. I mean, if you were a musician who is famous and wanted to record there, you wouldn't want it to be announced would you? U would have fans stalking U there. LOL | |

By the way, Prince IS back in town now, so Paisley Park will probably be lit up soon, all a buzz. | |

I would. 'Like making some kind of pilgrimage to Mecca! (If I knew he might be there or maybe I could peep on him outside doing yard-work, or lying in his back yard getting a tan in his paisley Speedo, or just pulling into the driveway after running to Piggly Wiggly's for some groceries. Who knows? I'd like to think the man does some type of normal activities - right? LOL!) | |
