Sussanah Hoffs to cover Prince on next album Sussanah Hoffs who famously sang Manic Monday will once again cover a Prince classic on her fortcoming album.......I would die 4 u will be on the itunes version of her new covers album.

Well, she may still have her chances: she's beautiful in the photograph the OP posted. ------- "Manic Monday" is among my 5 favourite Prince songs, by the way. 3 minutes of pop perfection. I listened to it again yesterday, on the Symbolism CD, an album of Prince songs interpreted by other artists. Also included are "Love... Thy Will Be Done" by Martika and "Five Women" by Joe Cocker, among others, and you can't help being impressed again by how versatile and talented our kid is. | |

Let me correct you here. Prince tried to get with her in the mid-eighties. Key word being "tried'. She always turned him down. Mrs. Hoffs has always been a class-act.

Can't wait to hear this. Hard to see her doing that song, but her cover versions in recent years have been great so it should be interesting. Check out "Different Drum" - great track.
She also sang "1999" on some of her live gigs last year. Correct. Prince is great, but what self-respecting woman would put up with all his mind-games?
