Serp has done nothing but help promote all of P and 3EG's efforts He is THE source of finding out what is really going on Here's a clue for you 3EG... What Serp provides both here and on Twitter is EXACTLY what we want. I recommend a Prince boycott until Serp is allowed to post freely once again. The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

With all due respect, can I ask you to make your point without resorting to fuelling any discord e.g. name calling? I agree with you though, 2020, to the extent that unfortunately Prince's organisation does appear to operate at a level of professionalism that is beneath an artist of Prince's stature. Furthermore, it is a shame that Prince does not invest in high quality support services throughout his entire organisation. A well-run business would significantly help Prince's PR and relationship building efforts. | |

Why doesn't Prince go after these Prince parody accounts that make a mockery of him like "Princetweets2u". Now there's a twitter account that posts as if he represents Prince. All Serpan99 did was post updates of Prince news for people who can't follow it in real time. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR | |

It's weird because I'm not into Prince bashing and negativity but this left a bad taste in my mouth.
I think Prince is an amazing talent both live and studio, I love his current musical works and I get his struggles for artists rights... However
Calling out individual fans for their dedication and minor copyright infractions where no revenue is earned I don't understand, Especially when the only purpose of those infractions was to promote Prince's projects, It just makes no sense
It would be so easy for them to send a private message thanking him for his endevours but respectfully requesting that he let them control promotion. But calling him out on an open forum is just baffling as to what they thought they would achieve
All Serpan wanted to do was let other fans know what was going on.
Also to say "Tell him we love him and we want him 2 feel welcome" is all well and good but why don't they just send him a tweet or a private message to him explaining the situation. It's not our job as fans to explain 3rdeyegirls actions and words. All we should be here to do is enjoy some music and take responsibility for our own words not 3rdeyegirls | |

That's exactly how I felt a few weeks ago when I was in the chat and saw 3RDEYEGIRL go after Serpan that night and act like a bully to him.
I'm not clear about what this "Tell him we love him and we want him 2 feel welcome" tweet is supposed to mean. So they publicly bully him and treat him rudely, but now they say they "love him" and want him to feel welcome? Huh?

From an outsider's perspective, the communications appear wholly unprofessional, which relates to one of my original points. Prince is utilising second or third rate professionals, which ultimately reflects poorly on an artist in terms of PR and relationship building, facets which are amongst the most important for established artists of his stature. Thus, an elder stat esmen starts to look like the Wizard of Oz in terms of credibility. Copyright issues aside, the communications strategy and execution is poor. | |

To truly make it right, 3RDEYEGIRL should apologize to Serpan for trying to make an example out of him in front of other fans, and also thank him for being such a devout fan. Serpan, if ur out there man big loves to u and the information u provide - ur twitter and posts here are spot on and always informative. So sorry the TurdEye has acted in such a way towards you. If I were you I'd be feeling like stopping right now. It'd be sad for something and someone you obviously love and follow but do they really deserve u?
