Their titles are more like descriptions/psuedo titles. "Slaves of the..." was "Strays of the World" and "Stay Free" was an instrumental version of "Brown Skin." Amazing version. On par with Shelby's HOB version.

I think that bass on Brown Skin sounds very much like Larry Graham his bass wink

Thanks for explaining that. I edited my earlier comments. I thought those messages under the audio were the titles of the songs they played. What song did the message 'Hidden Colors' reference? Was it a cover song from another artist or did it reference a Prince song?

i think it was actually a new track called "hidden colors". someone said on the live chat

that it was just for tonight. i think it was one of the people at paisley park, not sure tho.

that chat scrolls so fast it makes your eyes hurt at time, lol.

Thanks. I liked that track. I agree though, the chat goes way too fast to catch what people are saying. So glad I finally got to catch a whole show. I only caught 2 prior, but missed the first 1 or 2 songs played on prior shows. It wasn't too late tonight. The stream came on about 11:08pm, so not too bad for the East Coast. I was watching Spreecast, so I happened to be up around the time. All the other streams, prior to tonight's stream, seemed to have come on around 1 or 2 am, EST or later, which I'm sleeping by those times. LOL

This morning at around 05:06 (CEST) another broadcast started.

'unfinished work' was the title from what I recall.

But I had to leave for work.

So, after consolidating everything onto one site he adds a soundcloud account making things a little more disparate? Having free music to listen to as well as the vids on the site would be ace too! Hopefully with the next upgrades, maybe adding the merchandise we'll see a soundcloud tab (as the others are just feeds / links to Vimeo or livestream innit)…merch looks nice!

why is this thread not a sticky?, fuckin' bizarre!..shit loads of FREE music..some of it brilliant and it's not deemed worthy? Surely there should be a sticky for each days stream + tracklist etc. Just fuckin' weird!!

For the record some of this is great stuff, it's good to hear jam sessions. Midnight Blues & Menstrual Cycle are rockin hard in my head!

and STILL no sticky!!!..really is beyond a joke now.

No way was I ever going to know about, and be up for these last two livestreams. sad

I slept like a log until 6:45am UK time this morning. biggrin

I have nabbed the two soundcloud 3EG instrumentals now though. Also re-registered with the revamped website, what happened to the track that was going to be added to the 3rdeyegirl.com store? confused

So that was Prince's hands on the keys, when they showed that first vid live, titled "Work in Progress". I really liked that instrumental track 'Hidden Colors' though. I wonder if they will release it on soundcloud or for purchase. Also, I see they're including some flute in their music. Love when musicians use the flute in jazz-type music. The flute is like a peaceful instrument and adds a nice flavor to music. By the way, that instrumental version of 'Brown Skin' was awesome.

New merchandise is cool but does anybody really want to wear one of these shirts? The artwork really is quite ugly and always has been since 3rdEyeGirl was announced

Oh right thanks Serge. Yes, freebies are always good. Are you staying awake all night to catch these live streams? I've only caught parts of two of them as they coincided with my waking up time (yawns) lol

I assume that Udo's claiming that we can't link DIRECTLY to the SPECIFIC FILE on the 3rdEye Soundcloud--but I don't know why we'd really want to anyway. I mean, I'm guessing that those addresses might have changed anyway when they changed titles, and those file specific things can get adjusted all the time. As long as there are links to the 3rdEye sites/accounts themselves (which, as you say, have been here the whole time) you can go to the files from there, and to new files anytime they pop up.

I can't post a link to some other source for downloading the 3rdEyeTV streams to keep--but that's a different issue. For the livestream page in question to see the things live (the "official" and intended release)--that's readily available within this thread. That's how I got there. Princevault has it. I assume Serpan put it on his twitter. Any place you're gonna hear about its existence probably has it too.

There are certainly things to complain about in the way Prince reacts to some things that go on in cyberspace. But on this particular point, I'm not complaining.
