i remember being 11 and just finding him THE most mysterious dark dude ever...a man of shadows...

nobody ever saw him out or he NEVER spoke..i mean EVER!

When he wasnt talking about joining up his underarm hair to his head hair he was trying to put bees in the mouth's of virgins (REAL obscure ref-prize for identyfying the source!!)

Then i remember him talking in 84/85 at the BPI awards..(that almost killed his british career..fucking holly johnson-prince should have knocked his teeth out)

ahh the days before the internet!

well, it's only logical for prince to be less mysterious these days since we've

found out so much about him over the past 30 years compared to who the

guy was to us back in '84.

.

however, i'm pretty sure he was less dickish back then. there's still a fair bit

of mysterie but the curtain being drawn back this past decade has revealed

quite a dull personality who retreads the same old themes again and again

in his interviews and just doesn't seem like a very nice man to hang out with.

Do you still have interests in certain events of that time period or behind the scene stuff?

Like say we had a set list for the show where Prince & the Revolution did a show as the Red White & Blue band and other pics or that ATWIAD era show (Birthday show) that Sheila E/band was also a part of, would you get all giddy?

I would. and I'm not a teen anymore, its probably because there just isn't any 'exciting' buzz about now. I mean I'm still interested and like hearing/reading what he's up to, but if the buzz was the Time was opening for him or he was doing a few songs with a mix of the Revolution Sheila E the Family the Time or something I would be wet in my pants
