Pick a song from each Prince album to be performed live!

Prince is performing in your town with an ace band, and guess what: you are in charge of the setlist! So this is your chance to make him play your dream setlist, including obscure ones he doesn't hardly ever play!!!

The only thing is that you can only pick one song of each Prince album, so choose wisely. I have personally skipped instrumental albums and mp3 albums for my list, but feel free to include those as well.

Here is my list:

Sexy Dancer (I just would like to be there when he performs this)

Bambi (such a great rock song!)

Head (nasty funk)

Do Me Baby (his best ballad probably)

Something In The Water (Does Not Compute) (I just want to hear this live in all its' Linndrum/ Oberheim glory)

Darling Nikki (his wildest, horniest song ever?)

Pop Life (just such a good groove!)

Anotherloverholenyohead (another excellent groove)

Strange Relationship (the recorded version is a bit boring, but the liv one on the Alladin DVD kicks ass. Way too short though!)

Anna Stesia (beautiful and haunting)

Rock Hard In A Funky Place (the horns, it is all about those horns!)

Vicky Waiting (always loved this song, but never heard it live)

Joy In Repetition (Just because it is such a beautiful song)

Money Don't Matter 2nite (it was a hit, but for some reason he never plays this one live?)

Love 2 the 9's (epic song, would love to hear this performed live)

Come (another epic song that he never plays)

I Like It There (nice rocker, probably great live)

Endorphin Machine (another nice rocker, great energy)

Face Down (I hate Emancipation, and I only pick this one because it is the least of 36 evils)

Wasted Kisses (such a good song, would love to hear this live in a good arrangement)

Crystal Ball (best Prince song ever!)

Eye Love U But I Don't Trust You Anymore (so good, the only song that really stood out on Rave IMHO)

It's About That Walk (lovely playfull funky song)

Everlasting Now (this one just kicks ass live)

Avalanche (beautiful song, especially live)

A Million Days (great pop/rock song, throwback to 80's quality, old school screaming included)

Black Sweat (great funk song, throwback to 80's quality)

The One U Wanna C (just a solid feelgood pop song, the rest of the album I can't really stand)

Dreamer (Prince doing his best Hendrix impersonation)

No More Candy For U (because I had never seen that one coming!)

Act Of God (I suspect this one will kick ass live)

RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

P requested the horn arrangement for Billy Jack Bitch from me last month, so you and ganesh might get your wish on that one if you catch him live this year.

I've actually heard it live several times. Not so much a wish as I just love the horn arrangement, even though it wasn't performed with the horn players when I saw him do it.

Yeah, we never got to perform that live with him back in the '90s. It was just Tommy holding down a key and out we came. (wish I could've gotten a little kick back for that)

I never did get that...real musicians, real music...or something like that he was always saying.
