Adorecream

Heres my collection of Prince books to date. I am missing a few, most notably The Vault and Possessed (The former I can't find, latter I have read from Library several times). Also missing Thief in the Temple, not too worried, Prince inside the Purple Reign by Jon Bream, the Michelangelo SOTT thing, the Barnes and Noble picture book (NZ does not have Barnes and Nobel) or John Duffy one.

My oldest - Ivory Book 1/10 (1985) got it 1995

Barney Hoskins book- a bit gossipy - 6/10 (1988) got it 2004

Pop Life by Dave Hill 9/10 excellent (1989) got it 1993

Next lot all 90s books, got all of these new

A Documentary - 1993 Second Edition, great - 8.5/10 (Got new in 1995)

Prince a Guide to the music - Geoff Brown 1995 - not bad good reviews - 8/10 (Got in 1995 new)

(Also had Carlton books - Prince published in 1994 and same size, but it just fell apart)

Slave to the Rhythm, Liz Jones - 1st edition 1998 bought new in 1998 - okay a bit gossipy 7/10

Newest Lot - Bought in 2008 -2013 period

DMSR - 1998 but bought in 2008, brilliant book on the first decade, probably the best ever 10/10

Chaos, Disrder and Revolution - 2010 its not bad, but a bit boring covers all the facts well - 7.5/10

Prince - Matt Thorne 2012 - purchased new November 1 2012 - Another brilliant book on his music, outtakes and all, a bit technical but still great - 9.5/10

The Music and the Masks - 2011, Much better than expected, okay he makes a couple of glaring errors and skims post 96, but its still very good and added some more to the Prince story, its a fairly good read - 8.5/10

Not present - Possessed, complete if bitchy and witty assessment of his career - 9/10 A scintillating page turner never the less.

Does anyone else wnat to review their purple libarary too.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
