Why is there not much love shown for "Song of the Heart"

I absolutely love this tune from the movie. It is funky and fun and I'm surprised it did not get much more attention from the fans, or even airplay. Is there anyone else who just loves this song?

I like it, too. I remember seeing an interview with the director where he said that he was nervous that the song wouldn't be good. But then he heard it and loved it, but it was too late to include it in a scene in the movies so they created that dance routine in the credits to match the music.

I think it would've gotten more attention if it was included in the movie itself, rather than the credits, especially if it was in an important scene.

I like it for what it is.

He played it live when I saw him on the W2E tour 1½ years ago. I was surprised to hear it. It took me a while to even realize what the song was as I didn't think he'd play it. smile

Great song it's just that it was never availiable really for purchase and it was played at the end of the movie.
