And, it would not be the first time a sound technician, or other some such person involved in the recording, didn't lift a song or two or three. It's happened to other artists, and it can happen to Prince.

Looking at the amount of views the vids got he really did not reach that big of an audience.

Allow me to torrent the flv's and see if he tries to C&D me to verify his intent.

The excerpts we saw and heard are for the fan community. Who will pay a subscription to a new website to get bootlegs from the vault? Fans only. Not the big audience.

Well, I would think if that was the case, then his manager would have taken that 3rdeyegirl link off her page, but it is still there, even though the vids are gone, so I guess that's why some thought the c&d letter wasn't serious. Caused quite a confusion. Looks like DrF and others got duped by 3rdeyegirl.

There's always some crap like having to go to two seperate websites (as in this case) or the original NPG website which had that long-winded space intro scenario with the text flying at you at slow speeds, then you had the Kingdom Hall mess with all the confusing rooms (logging into that was so cumbersome), then you couldn't play the tracks you bought and downloaded cuz they were DRM. Doesn't matter. I'd just like to look forward to a Prince album with an official release date. The only ppl geeking out over this are ppl on this website. The music buying world at large is more concerned about David Bowie. Heck! He's a top trender on CNN!
