Same Page Different Book .... nice to see a new song, very NPGMC era sounding and yes slightly reminiscent of Props and Pounds.

Laydown extended....extended part good but this whole song in general could do with a rest, overrated IMO, keen for new stuff not rehashes of 20TEN

RnR remix....hmm quite funky but I also loved the original therefore remix not really needed.

Winner for me is Bambi.

What I wouldn't give for that whole rehearsal to come out on video - no foo-foo keyboard players, no horn solos, no Shebly J - just a rock n' roll band.

^ Well Billy (where do u get those glasses?), keen for new stuff but welcome old classics too if they really are classics!!! Bambi is one of them, one of his best songs, undderrated by fams IMO.

I am pleasantly surprised by all the goodies...so much that I had to post it at the meetupboard.

Well, after a couple of listens, I'm really digging all 4 tracks.

Laydown Xtended - I've been wanting this since I first heard 20Ten. Does not disappoint!

Bambi Rehearsal - As always, this song rocks. Fairly sloppy and not a definitive version of the song by any means, but, that guitar is smokin'.

Same Page Different Book - Digging this groove. Thumbs up...

Rock And Roll Love Affair Remix 7 - Waaaay better than the Jamie Lewis attempts, wish this one was on the CD single I bought. Reminds of TBE maxisingle/EP in that it's a complete alternate take on basically the same song.

Bambi Rehearsal - Well you'd be hard pressed to make that a negative, but seriously awesome

Same Page - Like this song if for nothing more than it not being as dogmatic as his more recent spiritual output.... But funky little track none the less

Laydown Extended - Worth the wait and pretty much answers the question conclusivly about wether there's going to be a 20Ten Deluxe release - Also it's fucking banging.

R&R Love Affair Version 7 - Makes me want to hear versions 1-6, Side note colleagues at work who listen to BBC Radio 2 and 6 have been saying how they don't normally like Prince but they like the original of this song so even though it's not a fan favourite it's doing it's part in gearing up the year for P

Ultimatly so gratefull for these songs and totally happy to hear every note. Wise decision of Princes to release so many different types of tracks on the same day..... Everybody has something positive to say even if they don't like it all

Same Page sounds pretty lame to me. It's like another bland extract of every throwaway 90's track. The same awkwardly fit lyrics stubbornly forced into where they don't seem to fit. Very 90's.

..and the RNR remix took whatever charm and anything good about the song and turned it into another mplsound reject.

But the laydown extended track and Bambi I do like.

Same book different page is quite good.

RNR remix is awesome, i think it's soooooo much better than the original.

Mostly every artist nowadays release new material or remixes. Before their album comes out. It builds momentum. U people find negativity in everything. I been wanting to hear the 20T3N remix album versions 4ever & he is finally unveiling them. Stop hating & njoy...........
