Love this song. Such a poisitive vibe...lyrics& music instantly improves my mood.

I have been a fan of GB the album since day one. I'm one of the few that likes Round & Round. The only one true clunker in the bunch for me is the title track .. Not a huge fan of tick, tick, bang and we can funk...although i totally dig their earlier versions.

I saw this at the dollar movies once, and someone shouted "Prince wearin my tablecloth!" and "He wants to go on a picnic..." at this part.

Loved this song since I got the GB tape waaay back in the day. I still think it's one of his best efforts. The beat is one of the best things he ever did and the layered vocals are just sick. Another one of those "Only Prince" moments.

I did something similar a while back, edited both parts of New Power Generation together, added Get off & Loveleft/loveright and also replaced We Can Funk with Prince's version from the same era, his version of Love Machine & Melody Cool. Oh and I left off the sugar coated horror that is Graffiti Bridge, obviously.

I love the early version of Tick, Tick, Bang as well
