Terence Trent D'Arby shouts out Prince

A massive shout out of respects to my worthy and esteemed colleague, the grand
master PRINCE. Remember this dude created the first VIRTUAL APP, when he used
his symbol to identify himself, and he was so far ahead of the curve that the
curve broke and wound up suing him for damages. He also since the late 70’s
pioneered the use of the language and spelling which is now commonplace on
Twitter and other forms of Internet communication. And come to think of it, I
was dancing ‘Gangnam’ style waaaaay back in the day.

From his latest madcap ramblings at: http://www.sanandamaitrey..._2012.html

Started to read that whole page and NOW I have a headache... maybe Sananda could learn of the benefits of a blog with a "one day = one article" rule, instead of that neverending page full of odd statements... As it is, it's nothing but discouraging...

His music rules, though.

I miss this dude. Kept me going while Prince was off trying to rap and new jack swing. Have to admit I lost track of what he was up to after Wildcard but I will love Symphony or Damn and Vibrator 4ever.

Funny TTD pops up when just the other night I was looking through my concert ticket box & remembered I had the set list from one of his gigs! He even signed it for me but I didn't see him. Think someone went backstage & got it signed for me.

TTD will forever be famous for appearing in a Prince 1986 Calendar by mistake.

Once he named himself after a bank, alot of people lost interest. lol

He was quite an electric performer back in the day...splits and all. He definitely schooled at the Prince academy if you ask me.

I seen Terence (not Sandra) at the Edinburgh Playhouse about a hundred years ago. He was doing the splits, the James Brown dance and generally leaping about like a tit. Brilliant though, great show.

And yes, he was schooled in Prince, almost every interview he did back then he took the opportunity to mention him.
