I would like to hear this http://www.princevault.co..._The_Flesh

Anything else would be a bonus.

I've just heard "A Couple Of Miles". In pristine quality. That wasn't circulating before, right?

I just heard it as well. It wasn't circulating before and I hope this means more uncirculated songs will be freed. Thank you to whoever is responsible!

More than welcome and then some. Am I being greedy or does it make anyone else want more?

Such a nice touch from 'whoever' let it out though. Grateful isn't the word.

Yes, who botched that recording so badly?

Lovesexy Aftershows on DVD in perfect quality!

You don't have the Trojan Horse BluRay yet?

My choice would be anything uncirculating with guitar in it. Think Undertaker etc.

Maybe also some VERY interesting (to be defined) guitarless tunes.

Yes, I am vague...

It doesn't blow me away. It's nice to have, though, and one can only hope that more from those sessions gets out.

Film of 16th Sept '07 in the Indigo2.

Film (In full) of 25th July '88 in Camden Palace. Might as well make it a box set of Lovesexy aftershows on film? Yeah, might as well.

Any and all out-takes. Good, bad and indifferent.

Front row seats for SOTT, Wembley, just like I had, only this time, including a big purple umbrella for P so he can turn up.

A new album with some real substance, comparable to anything released or unreleased pre '89.

I was reading an interview with Eric just a few days ago. He was talking about A Couple of Miles among other tunes: http://prince.org/msg/5/372583 Maybe I should read more stuff like that, who knows, maybe it'll all start dripping out. biggrin

Edit: Wrong Link. Somehow I can't link properly to the interview. Search the Org, Eric Leeds interview, it's in the second part I think...

After the unexpected trouser-swellage of the vocal Lust You Always I'm sated for a while........... but a studio of Roadhouse Garden and Wednesday would be interesting.

-12 inch version of Ballad of Dorothy Parker

-full/clear 1983 version of We Can Funk

-I agree with the comment about The Time songs with Prince vocal - imagine I Don't Wanna Leave You with only Prince vocals!!

-Super clear full length versions of Take Me With U, Beautiful Ones, Computer Blue

-Any unheard outtakes 1980-1984

-Second Coming film

-Live video from anytime pre-Dirty Mind

-Clear recording of Lovesexy show from 1988 in Greensboro, NC (my first Prince concert), I have a really bad audience recording

~And even when I'm right, I'll be wrong...it's Automatic too.

Great thread !

What i would love to hear :

1. Cosmic Day (full length , crystal clear version)

2. A milion miles i love you (full length Prince vocal version, crystal clear version)

3. By Alien Means (the song written by Prince for Madonna in 1988)

4. Strange Way Of Saying I Love You (full length, crystal clear version)

5. Call of The Wild

6. Love & Sex (Prince Version)

7. Adonis & Batsheeba (full length version)

Every other outake will be welcome as well but these are my most awaited ones !!

"Lust u always" was also among my most wanted song but we got this outake this year.

I'm glad 2012 has been a great year for freeing Prince jewels. Once again hug many thanks to the one(s) who made the new outakes available for everyone ! I love "A couple of Miles" (i'd never thought i could hear this song one day !)

I'll never understand the love 'Cosmic Day' gets.

If it were an official track or a widely circulating (complete) outtake I'm sure opinions would be very different.

I think the track is horrible. And the way it was sung makes it even poorer.

But then again, if all of us thought the same way the world would be a boring place.

Well, i understand your opinion about "Cosmic day" since it's quite a weird track BUT what i love in this song is that it's really unique in Prince Discography.

Excentric, humoristic, psychedelic lyrics and a goog pop song overrall. It's like the positive side of drugs as opposed to "Bob George" which would be the negative side lol

I can't tell about the whole song but the first minute of it makes me laugh every time !

Hope i'll be able to hear it one day in its full length glory.

^One from 76 and one from 78 apart from Sue Ann Carwell's version.

I never understood why that MJ idiot turned it down. At least there would be one good song on 'Bad' (which really honours its title).

Well, the earliest version feels to me like the song hasn't really taken shape.

The 1978 version is already like we all first knew the song in Taja's version.

I'd also like to have a (somewhat) pristine version of the 87 take. Really nice song.

Like, If I Love U 2Night, it's one of those very early songs that Prince kept on rescueing and retouching through the years. A clear indicator that he really believed in them.

^ I didn't really like the Xylophoney type effect he used on the 87 version, I thought that version sounded a bit cheesy and overproduced, the 78 ver is the one I like, still I love the horn improvisation near the end of the 87 version, its beautiful. Still would be interested to hear a 87 version with HIS vocals just out of curiosity.

The Taja Sevelle album is one of my fav related artists albums.....Love Is Contagious esp!

I have to confess for all the pre 1990 requests I could make I would actually most like to hear, Pristine soundboard straight off the master Glam Slam Ulysees soundtrack.

I know we have alot of it but those versions of Race and Loose are awesome.

Other than that I would love to have proshot DVD's of Any Act I,Act II or Wembley Gold Experience shows.

I have the '79 version, it's great but I mean the version he gave to Taja Seville from 1987. The circulating 1987 demo with his vocals is in pretty shitty quality.

A great album (BL) 4 u 2 get is the The Work 2.0 (Also known as Testament or the Prince Ivault series. The discs u need to hear are 1988 and 1989

The underlined songs are totally worth listening to. Particularly the line, some amazing lyrics and minimalist synth lines with Boni's vocals and Prince asking lyrics like "Is it the Housequake?, Is it the shake and bake? Is it the ricearoni? is it the macaroni?". Fantastic call and response vocals, melisma and a really electronic gospel feel.

Fuschia light is also great, a minimalist funk number that reminds you a bit of Electric chair, Rave surprisingly sounds a lot like the released jam and If eye had a harem is great too.

Dance with the devil just is not that great, just some keyboard noodling and vocal sampling. I think you would probably dig the song Databank too from this period.

I think People without from 1988 is also a great jam, its very dark, he sings quietly and then loud, it has some dark lines like "People without use cocaine" "People without fuck without loving" and has a drony keyboard line with a rock guitar break. Then of course theres the Small Club mixes of all these songs. Small Club is just one of those essential bootlegs everyone needs.

I agree with the other orger, the 78 mix of Wouldn't you love to me sounds better than the 1987 or Taja Sevelle versions, the guitar mix and keyboard are warmer and it works with his younger falsetto (For You period) rather than Camille period falsetto. Also I have noticed to that the sound is very tinny and quite on my 1987 version. The 76 is a pleasing demo though and sounds a bit more polished than the other Moonsound mixes except Instrumental 1 (7.38) the acoustic guitar instrumental, thats beautiful.
