I've just finished uploading all my cd's onto my iTunes library as I'm going on vacay and want to take all of Prince's songs with me - because u never know when the occassion may call for some 319 or Insatiable (hey I could get lucky)

So for those of you who have uploaded your Prince collection onto your iTunes library it will tell you how many songs u have altogether & long it will take to listen to them all.

At this present moment I have:

755 songs, which itunes tells me will take me 2.6 days to listen to them all.

My prince collection is 2890 songs and it says will take me 9.8 days. And I only have my fave boots on my computer. I did include very relative artist in this such as THE TIME, NPG, Sheila E., Vanity 6, and so fort.

woah!! and here I was thinking I was pretty cool for having so many Prince songs. I don't have many other artists besides Prince, but I've got the Bria's Elixir. I should look into getting other Prince-associated artists.

755 sounds about right, if you only include Prince-named material and include most of the remixes.

But what do you consider a "Prince song"? Only stuff that was released under his name? Remixes, single edits, and remix edits? Full albums produced for other satellite acts? Half the tracks from an Elisa Fiorillo or Martika album? NPG and Madhouse? Plus all of the various remixes for THOSE tracks?

and what about tracks her performed on, but didn't write?

the possibilities are endless.

but I ended up with about 715 by including his own released material, most of the non-repetitive remixes plus Madhouse and NPG stuff.
