Article: Prince, the Musical Rebel Who Refuses to be Cheated

http://www.afropunk.com/p...nth-prince

While not too in-depth, and despite the lack of mentioning Prince's Punk/New Wave, which was before 'Purple Rain', it still makes some great points.

Not just errors either. This is just poorly written:

"Prince went on to produce classics such as When Doves Cry, 1999, Little Red Corvette, Let's Go Crazy, I Would Die 4 You, and When Doves Cry"

Start AND end with When Doves Cry... sheesh!

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...

I could see starting and ending with WHEN DOVES CRY but, alas, I fear it was just a mistake.

Proof reading is (or rather, should be) an important part of publishing, even in the digital realm...

Factual errors are bad enough, this is just unprofessional.

Yes. Editors charge little enough. I would not want to send an email with a mistake that glaring.

Reminds me of the Graffiti Bridge trailer that mentions the inclusion of "hot stellas" in its cast twice in the same sentence. LOL
