it must be admitted that he was very "scrupulous" about his facial hair...

the straight forward moustaches of 1978-1981, then more shaped thing on 1982-1984, and the thin line up to 1989 time when he had none. Then the years of beards came which later evolved in this one-big-drama of the typhoon-do transformation of 1993. Later he gave it up on beard only to come back to the unshaven look of the Gold Experience. Then he kept the goattee only to develop it to what it is now.

And just imagine how much time he needs to shave when there are those thin lines, perfectly shaped to be exposed. Maybe the line in "Mellow" should go:
