Origin of Prince's song Kiss - a response to another song?

I've known about David Rivkin's Mix article on the recording of "Kiss" for a long time, but I just saw some comments at the bottom of a similar article posted in 2004:

I worked for prince as an engineer for years. This song was a simple 1-4-5 blues progression strumed in a pattern similar to the Springsteen / Pointer Sisters song "Fire", until David Rivkin mixed it.
The guitar track on tape was run through a Keypex gate and the 'key' input patched from the hi-hat track (track 4 on the master tape). The kick augmented with an AMS RMX-16 reverb's "Nonlin" program.
Marv Gunn and Bruce from Maserati can be heard singing the "Ahh-a-ahh" BGVs.
ok, so you knowHOW it was made, but do you know everything behind it? well, I will tell you. the song "kiss" was a response to a song my mom, rachelle gabrielle fontaine, wrote prince for his birthday while they were together. there, now you know. you need proof? ask him! or see the copyright. it's true. thank you.

Has anyone else heard that someone named "Rachelle Gabrielle Fontaine" wrote a song for Prince for his birthday while they were together? She sounds French, and Prince would have just come back from France after filming Under The Cherry Moon not long before Kiss was recorded, but he wasn't filming the movie anywhere near his birthday. He did visit France for about 10 days to scout locations and actresses about a week after his birthday that same year though.

I don't know what this is supposed to mean: Prince copyrighted the song as being its sole author(which already generated enough controversy without adding that Rachelle Gabrielle Fontaine to the mix lol ). It's the first time I've heard that story or that woman's name and from the passive-agressive tone of the poster I'd say it's just bullshit, but who knows...
