Kiss on the rave dvd

i actually like that version better the new one, and i also prefer his moves on the rave dvd more than what he has been doing, it was interesting when he first did it on w2 america but why not change it a bit? hope i don't sound like i am complaining but maybe others think alike

"who need the exercise"..lol

I love the whole rave DVD aside from the Larry Graham set. I love Lenny Kravitz too.

^ Personally prefer the W2 performances of Kiss - tighter sound/ arrangement.

Kiss is one of the rare songs that don't work well live. The only live version I like is from the Parade tour.

I would've totally agreed with your above statement until I saw footage of a recent W2Australia performance

To be honest, I love the new version of kiss. The new rendition started on the 20ten tour in Roskilde, which was the first show to use the new renditions of Kiss and Let's go crazy/delirious. I was at Roskilde and was blown away when I heard the new versions. I think its far superior to recent renditions. The last time he played kiss was on the London o2 shows and I honestly thought it was so bland it was unbelievable, whereas the new version is full of pep and of course finishes with the new infamous dance solo cool

My other favourite version is easily the Parade tour, but I don't mind others but just makes me think it's another song that you can't quite capture the original studio version

@Llanishenlad

Agree totally - there are certainly songs that don't appear to capture studio versions - any particularly come to mind?

Then again it works bth ways - some live tracks are better than their studio versions - Fury anyone

Anyway, sorry to go off topic popcorn
