The reason Dr. Suess can suck a nice, big, succulent, tender, juicy, hairy, fat, suckable, well-toned, veiny, long, squeezable, firm, rock-hard, devestating, battle hardened, well-worn, battered, cultured, nice, wonderful, incredible, awe-inspiring, porn selling, starmaking, vagina destroying, amazing, pussy whipped, heavy, enormous, engorged, raging, brutal, crowned in pubes, rising from huge testicles, great, terrific, swell, radical, life-changing, ass-destroying, daring, despicable, dick-tastic PENIS

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Prince was a great treasure before the revolution, and he still is. Just face the facts, honestly he didn't need them. Don't get me wrong, they contributed a HUGE HUGE amount to what we know Minneapolis funk to be. But Prince captained that ship, and basically did everything else.
I'm sick and tired of making plans without making up my mind, teacher teacher can't u see I just need a little time.

I'm not going to debate if Prince's music, style anything was better with the Revolution because so much of that comes down to personal preference, but I will say IMHO, the whole Prince show, from album to stage was more fun.

No war with the record labels.

No boundaries.

Just sex, and music and partying.

grandpa Yep....I'm definitely feeling nostalgic today.

I'm firmly planted in denial

I feel you.

I always felt he suffered a stroke in 87 from jumping up and down doing the Housequake. Some people loose their ability to speak, lose use of their limbs, Prince lost that certain intangible something that separated him from ordinary pop artists.

Whatever the reason, something or someone left him or did him wrong in the 80's. Stroke, drugs, lost band members, cloned and locked in a closet, it's all a mystery, but there is no denying his music suffered an incredibly sudden and dramatic fall circa 87/88 and he has never managed to fully recover.
