Gansgta Glam Remixes Appreciation

How amazing is the Gangsta Glame remix suite -- the 12 minute Gangsta Hurley's House mix, and the smooth Gangsta Groove mix -- I wish he included these in the Gett Off maxi-single... makes me yurn for more remixes he never put out

Gangsta Glam & Clockin the Jizz (Hurley's House Dub)

Gangsta Glam (Hurley's House Dub)

Gangsta Glam (Gangsta Mental Mix)

Gangsta Glam (Gangsta Hurley's House Mix)

Gangsta Glam (Gangsta Hurley's House 7)

Gangsta Glam (Gangsta Groove Mix)

Gangsta Glam (Gangsta Groove 7)

The lyrics weren't the greatest but always loved the way their voices blended on the chorus part. Prince's high register 'Gangster' and Rosie's deeper 'Gangsta'. That always made it work perfectly for me. The beat was definitely killer though.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I know Tony was Pac or Biggie but he wasn't that bad. For the time he was pretty good. Diamonds was always one of my favorite eras and Gangster Glam was the jam. The Gett Off maxi CD and Video was on point. I'm not only saying that because I am a life long fan, but cats that would crack on me for liking him would ask me to play the video and listen to the song. The whole Diamonds album, maxi CDs, videos, Arsenio show....man it was a great year. The "Love Symbol" album with the long hair, no Rosie, heavy make-up and terrible songs killed the momentum and started the "slave" / "I lost my mind and won't be back for a long time" period.
