This album was, is, and always will be my number 1 from Prince and any artist. It's the album that hooked me for life.

It's the perfect mix of funk, new wave, and pop, and will never be topped. I can't even begin to count how many times of listened to it. It was ahead of its time and nothing else sounded like it when it was released 30 years ago.

nod yeahthat clapping

Nope, the good is very good but it's dragged down by the terribleness of Automatic, Something In The Water Does Not Compute, All The Critics Love U and to a lesser extend Lady Cab Driver.

LP1 on it's own could be in a top 5 easily, but LP2 really drags it down for me. Top 10 probably but top 5, hell no.

Are you insane?

Automatic? great song I could do without the rape/SnM but it's still awesome

SITWDNC? WTF!?!?! One of his best, Annie Christian mark II

All the Critics love you is average, for Prince great song for anyone else

LCD is his funkiest ever, Let's Work without the boringness

Ah Annie Christian, the only skipper on Controversy. So I guess a mark II was never gonna sit too well with me. lol

RIP sad
