Question About Early Tracking of Purple Rain

Were any of these circulating longer versions of the Purple Rain songs on the original tracking of the album...

Let's Go Crazy (offical release)

Take Me With U

Computer Blue

Darling Nikki

I Would Die 4 U

...or were these just early unedited versions never intended for release?

I wasn't aware of the longer Purple Rain -- my question is were any of these longer versions on the original tracking of the album or the test pressing (the version that included Wednesday & Father's Song)

if you get the First Avenue august 83 show where PR was recorded it has the full version, it's about 10 - 11 mins.

I'm hoping Prince does a reissue of "Purple Rain" because he was limited at the time by how much he could fit on vinyl.

It's hard to know what was edited for that reason, and if there's versions of songs that are in the vault that he wanted out, but couldn't do it without making it a 2 LP release. Even right after "1999", I'm sure it would've been tough to convince Warners on that.

The original "Purple Rain" song got edited down, but I'm sure that's one song he'd keep the way it is.... BUT it would be cool if he released the soundboards from that concert and include the video from it (but incorporating photos taken at the show, too).

But just imagine, "1999" was out at the time, and to have heard these songs for the first time, had to have been unbelievable.
