Well, it really comes down to how we define being a band member. Rhonda was with Prince from 1996-2004, with a brief hiatus in 1999-2000 while Larry briefly took the helm. And then she was back in 2009 as part of the 'Jazz' line-up (LA, Montreux etc.). So what's that? 7, 8 years? So I think Rhonda certainly has the wood over Shelby.

Lisa was with Prince from 1979/80 until 1986/87? So yeah, her and Rhonda are probably tied as the longest serving female band member.

But what is he had fired Shelby before the Canadian tour and replaced her

with Andy? The difference in experience and voice would have been noticeable

right away. Will Shelby fade out and Andy step up in her place? Just pondering...

I think it would be awesome if he got rid of both of them. And they can take the other two background singers with them too.

I think Andy allo is one of the most promising proteges hes had in a while. I know she has a lot to work on to develop to the point of being on stage with Prince and in some ways, I don't think he should have put her on stage so soon either but she does have talent and she is beautiful.
