BREAKING NEWS: Graffiti Bridge Special Edition on DVD!!!!

Graffiti Bridge, Prince's 1990 underrated masterpiece art film, is soon to be released on a two-disc DVD set!!! It features:

  • a new widescreen master of the film
  • some hardcore Dolby sound shit
  • Interviews with Prince, Ingrid Chavez, TC Ellis, the vampire, Victor, OTAN, and some guy.
  • An answer to the ancient question: "Why does Ingrid Chavez look frighteningly like that little retarded boy who used to live next door to me and pee through our fence all the time?"
  • A new alternate "Non-Suck" version of the film...which features the opening credits, that scene in which The Time eats all of those fucking peppers or whatever the fuck they were, Morris pissing onto a plant, and the closing credits.
  • Twelve leading Prince scholars discussing what in the fuck Prince was thinking when he decided to film that performance scene for "Tick, Tick, Bang."
  • 27 minutes of deleted scenes -- all of which consist of Prince's wonderful acting. You know the shit I'm talking about...when he does his "one stare"...that thoughtless blank gaze that's supposed to convey sadness, deep reflection, pain, utter happiness, confusion, sorrow, joy, and a whole bunch of shit you've never even heard of.
  • A formal apology to anyone who's ever forked over money to watch this film, including those suckers who purchase this new DVD set.

Ooooh! Is that the DVD version of Fargo that shows how Prince lost his left foot during filming? (goddamn woodchoppers!)

Yes, that's the one. By the way, any word yet on the remastered, extended version of NewPower Soul? I hear they are going to put a 20 minutes bass solo from Larry between I like Funky Music and the Kisses hidden track. Plus most of the tracks except Come on will be five minutes longer.

I don't have any info on that but I've heard they're also remastering Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. The reissues will feature a revamped advert for the NPGMC (again, just before the bonus track Prettyman). A collector's must.

You are a bad man KS!

For some sick, perverted reason I was actually interested by the subject of this thread "Ooh, a new Prince DVD!" without actually remembering that the "movie" was fucking dreadful.

Morris pissing on a plant then setting it a flame is classic stuff, don't knock it, SK!
there isn't another human b ing alive, who can piss pure lighter fluid like that.

now if they cut the scene of the gold foil fan-blown, fake fire, it mite b buy worthy.
did u hear anything about the part of an xtention n the scene where prince breaks loose during the battle challenge request, and mops the floor with morris and his whole yalmpin' crew, plus blacking both of the little white guy's eyes b4 he realizes it was only a movie?

talk about flashback outtakes!

and then 2 put the movie back 2gether so piece-meal, like we wouldn't notice parts were missing!
