I didn't feel one way or the other about the earcuffs until I saw one of them up close.

I've never really been interested in diamonds before then either...but they sparkled like nothing I've ever seen before

I don't know that he necessarily shares them with those he has a "special bond" with, beyond perhaps the fact that he wouldn't drape just anyone in that sort of bling. Shelby speaks about their bond as being similar to brother/sister - either that was behind the gift (assuming it was a gift, of course) or else he just felt that they would look good on her.

yeah, i was thinking about going for it but my hairs way too short. i can already tell ill look like an asshole
