Ok the positivity thread... One of the reasons I love Prince's music so much is the I'm so lonely, nobody gets me and the uplifting, love is everything, positive messages in his songs. Whenever I've found myself in a bleak mood in the past I put on "Eye No" and it is so uplifting and hyperactive it really lifts me right out.. The ecstatic high of lovesexy can really be contagious.. By the time alphabet street arrives I'm dancing round the house! Try it! You'll see..  | |

My brother suffers very badly from loneliness, in recent years I have noticed that it has made him very bitter and he seems to have great difficulty in social engagement due to it. I, on the other hand, have always enjoyed solitude to an extent.
However, when feeling down over the yrs certain artists have helped uplift me. In my teens The Cure´s early music used work, later in my mid 20´s, during a very bad patch, I listened U2´s Unforgettable Fire alot, I found it helped me sleep.
