Favorite Unreleased Tracks?

So what are some of your faves? Looking for unreleased tracks or unreleased versions of released tracks. Some of mine are:

Purple Music

Extra Loveable

Lisa

Electric Intercourse

Do Yourself a Favor (I think this song has another title)

Witness 4 the Prosecution

Allegiance

I Would Die 4 U (30 min. jam session)

Baby, You're a Trip (Prince on vocals)

Rebirth of the Flesh

Data Bank (Prince on vocals)

We Can Funk (Prince only)

If You See Me.

I honestly only love two unreleased songs - Electric Intercours & Moonbeam Levels. There's many others I like, and I haven't heard everything, but I've yet to hear another really incredible unreleased song.

Anyone else got any goodies? It's funny because I listen to some of the unreleased tracks as much as I listen to my favorite albums.

Too many to mention, all of them I pretty much love. Most of his finest ever works remain in the Vault, and that opinion is just based on the ones i've heard, there are many more than no-one has heard if the song copyright data is to be believed.

Don't forget to mention Wonderful Ass peeps!

Yes, and in both cases I prefer the unreleased versions.

Prince was an ass when he didn't give Wendy And Lisa any credit for Power Fantastic when he released it in 1993. As far as I know, the music is mainly theirs.

Something along those lines, there are many stories.

All that aside though it's an amazing track, one of my favorites from that period.

Do u mean that long intro that W & L did? As far as the liner notes said this was all done in one take so i didn't think there was another version?!

The Revolution recorded the song playing together in the studio in 1986, it was due to be included in Dream Factory. I think the piano was placed upstairs and the result is a more "atmospheric" and delicate version than the one later published.

That's the one I mean, it's from the same session, it's just with the intro part left on.

Of course they have now registered their joint copyright interests (together with Prince) as authors of both the song's words and music.
