An underrated song on the Org IMO.

Its often gets 'badmouthed', because of the (indeed) corny rapping and ragamuffin parts, like its another Jughead, but its a far better song.

The lyrics are a bit blatant and simple, but its got a great hard funk-beat, a strong chorus and the guitarplaying and the background vocals are energetic.

Its not a classic by any means, but i like it better then anything on MPLsound or 20ten.

Why do you always have to mention 20ten and mplsound when mentioning a song that has nothing to do with these two?

At least the NPS and Emancipation comparison made sense.

I guess they're saying it's better than what he's doing now. I don't know. It doesn't make sense to me either.

Anyway, I love the Chaos and Disorder album, but this isn't one of my favorites from the album... still like it though. The chorus lyrics are embarrassing, though. Also, the first 'rap' sucks; the 2nd one is good. Other than than, it's a very good song imo..

I've been listening to this song a lot, lately

is not that bad, in fact, it's decent, even entertaining, the chorus is anthemic and the rapper is good.

Better than ANY "jam" of Emancipation / NPS, anyway

yeahthat

I love the whole album... must go and listen!

Shut up already, damn.

Reaction:

Because i think that both albums are very bad and that even some album track from an obligational album from the nineties is better then the crap on these two albums.

Because some people here are very mild when it comes to judging the lack of quality of his recent albums.

I dont see what is strange about saying some nineties song by Prince is better then anything on his last albums. Its just a matter of comparing quality.

Liked it better then than now, but was never a favorite song of mine. It has aged terribly, much worse then then first few rock tracks on the album, which I like better now than in 1996...

I cant help but laugh at the subtlety of that line...'lift up your bra show me your titties'

I like the album but this song and 'dig u better dead' seem out of place.

one of maybe about 20 songs by prince in his entire output that i cant listen to....utter crap...no wonder he put a disclaimer on the album...although i do like about 4 of the tracks on chaos and disorder..even when he doesnt care much about the album...he cant help producing some good stuff..

Yes, I have always thought that about Dig U Better Dead especially. The other song at least has "Rock" in the title lol

But it's the same with Planet Earth. It has a couple mis-matched R&B songs on what is otherwise a rock-ish album

A line like: a private school as opposed 2 the 1 that yearly spits out another group of fools... is pretty good.
