Adorecream

Most of them since my Ipod broke due to computer replacement, and my new 2nd hand one (Computer) being unable to read Music CD's (Any way around this?).

Otherwise I never listen to Rave, Rainbow Children, Purple Rain or Musicology any more

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

To be honest, there really isn't an album that he's released since Lovesexy that I can listen to all the way through... Sometimes, If I'm in the right mood, I can get through "The Truth" or "Rainbow Children" just because they're kinda different... BUT, naw. I mainly only listen to individual songs & live boots.

Not 3121? I thought I read in another thread you kinda like that one. I can listen to that one pretty much all the way through. I usually skip Te Amo Corazon. Why can't he pronounce Te Amo Corazon with some flavor? He loves the Latinas you'd think he'd get down on that one.

3121 is definitely one of my recent faves... But, it's one of those albums that I LOVE 60% of & can't even listen to the other 40%.... Not sure why that is... I think my expectations are just really high with Prince at this point.

& Yeah... Te Amo is one of the tracks I skip too... I don't think I've ever heard the whole track, to be honest.

Gotta agree with you on this one... I really want to like this album.... The grooves are Funky as Hell.

But Tony just doesn't cut it for me.

I bet if he played this entire album live with different guest MCs, it would Kick A$$...

I hadn't listened to D&P and prince maybe for 3-4 years at some point. Just couldn't really enjoy them anymore.

The Kamasutra and NPGMC material gets played the least, but I don't think those can be compared to the "proper" albums.

Despite "not liking" NPS and Rave I've played them surprisingly lot and can sing along to them from start to finish.

3121, Planet Earth, Lotusflow3r / MPLSound, 20ten I've played an awful lot (not least because I have them on my mp3 playlist, so I don't have to go get the CDs from the other side of the room).

Love the 80s stuff, love the 90s stuff but have hardly any enduring interest in the releases from the year 2000 onwards.

Come isn't bad. I just don't listen to it that much. I prefer the original version of Come (the song), though. Space is cool too, but I like the Universal Love mix better. The Symbol album is all right too, but I hardly listen to it cuz of all the tired rap elements. If I pull this album out at all, it's usually for And God Created Woman or Sweet Baby. D&P? No thank you. lol

Pretty much anything before the year 2000. I love all his music but I tend to move ahead with him. Lately im all about 2010 and lotus/mpls. His newer music is less innovative but I have never really picked appart every little part of his songs. I doubt when he has an idea he sais to himself," I think that would make a cool song but im not going to use it because the chord progressions are not complex and its not a new sound." Sure the eighties stuff was more original but all this newer stuff that has that mpls sound would have sounded newer and fresher back in the day. I just know princes sound so tracks like dance 4 me, lavaux, feel good feel better, etc just have that prince stamp on them for me. I think the biggest thing is since like 2004 he seems more comfortable as just a musician and not so much some mythological genius. It seems like he just wanted to go back to what he was listening to as a kid and just jam. This could help to explain why so many covers and such of late. But you know you need to look back to move ahead.
