Awsome! I could build a guitar my own, but I just wouldn't know how to start on the neck. How do you start on that? How do you make that round shape? Is it done by hand or by a programmed machine? | |

Everything i do is by hand and hand tools. I dont like instruments made by cnc's as the instrument looses something.
why not start by buying a neck from ebay and making a body to fit it. then when you feel comfortable with that copy the neck.
Buy guitar plans from Stewart Mcdonald or david dyke and follow the plans as close as possible.
The round shape of the body? i used a bandsaw to get the rough shape then made a mdf jig of the final shape and used a router with a follower bearing. the follower bearing runs along the mdf and the cutter cuts into the wood.
