For those who can't burn FLAC, download Free Easy Burner from Koyote Soft. It's free and it burns dvd's too or Ashampoo burner.

lol

The first concert at De Melkweg is also pretty good - worth a left nut to have been there - if only you had one smile

I had great times at both concerts (actually at all six Prince did in the Netherlands) and are so happy with the available boots...

"we're just jamming you can go home if you want to" - yeah right Prince, I paid 100 euros to leave your concert early biggrin

So, is the sound quality of the lst and 3rd show boots as good as the 2nd one?

So, is the sound quality of the lst and 3rd show boots as good as the 2nd one?

The 1st night (also on Love Or $/Confusion) is imo not as good as night 2, there is a bit more audible audience chatter, but still a good show though all said and done, and it's better than no show at all.

Thanks for the info. biggrin I was also wondering if anyone has been able to decipher all the altered lyrics to Beautiful Strange.

true - a lot more chatter - at one point even disturbing, I can imagine even more if you don't understand Dutch smile or the other way around - anyway at the beginning of Crimson And Glover a boy and girl are arguiing over the best spot (he had moved into her spot according to her and she had room to her left according to him)... As if that matters in a small club like De Melkweg - makes me just rotflmyao - I stood in the back where one even could find space to dance and be close to the bar - which is good too if you're thirsty! Ok, I didn't see the sweat on Prince's face - but really do I care? I am there to party with good live music - ok enough of that lol

Still the boot of the 1st night captures the atmosphere of that night quite well - Prince having a great time - and giving the audience that too! I like it that the bootleggers continued recording after Flashlight (and put it on the boot). You can hear how pleased, energized and satisfied the audience was with the show they got from Prince and the NPG... there were no discussions about the first hour (without Prince) or the songs played... everyone I spoke to after the show (counts for both actually) was mindblown by the show(s) - that's how it's supposed to be. Enjoyable energetic live music you can dance to - but that's just me lol

dancing jig Yay! Another great bootleg. But why always effing flac, isn't 356kb/s mp3 good enough? The converting programs in flac are always stupid trials. Do you all have quad amplifiers and kef speakers or what?
Edit: but before you all shoot me, I'm still happy that there are bootleggers willing to take the risk to record these great shows! wink

[Edited 7/31/11 8:34am]

Use this http://www.dvdvideosoft.c...verter.htm for ultra easy Flac to mp3 conversion, if you can't use this with no trouble then it's off with your head.

Also as mentioned, download winamp, (it's very easy to use and free) it will play almost any music format without converting and you can also burn flac direct to cd.

Cheerz, I knew I had forgotten something when I upgraded my pc...I am pretty sure winamp has the best sound quality of all the usual media players, if my memory/ears serve me correct...

If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Not sure about sound quality, but it plays flac and just about every other file type right out of the tin, ye can burn flac direct to disc and above all it's a piece of piss to use.

I'm really pissed they'd only post it in FLAC: no way to download it with my slow Cambodian connexion! I wish someone would post it in MP3 or as a torrent (these can be slowly downloaded in several times).

Sheesh, do you also use a hammer to get screws in?

1. Ditch WinAmp and use Foobar2000.

2. Use proper software for burning CDs.

3. Burning CDs?

You probably already know this, but there is a crack you can use with Winamp, which will download tracks from radio stations played on Winamp...
