Condorcet Album Poll: 3121

This is the next installment in a series of polls ranking the songs on each album officially released by Prince or O+>. The goal of this project is to determine which tracks should be included in a final poll to determine the overall top 25 Prince songs in the opinion of his fans.

For those of you who haven’t been following the polls, these are different than the usual “best song” threads in that they combine the preferences of all the voters into an overall list.

I am going through these in the same order that they were ranked in the earlier poll of the best Prince albums. Now's the time of the most valued album of the 00's, according to that poll: 3121.

Surprising how well this album has aged. Much much better than most of his 90's albums. Apart from Lolita and Love which would better fit on a 90's album, this album is actually pretty great.

So 3121 (the song) has finally won... Although I prefer Black Sweat and Fury, I also think it is a top tune...

Looking back at the albums in polls like this is really interesting. Some you forget how bad they really are, and others like 3121 you realize just how strong of an album it is.

It is indeed. I listened again to this album in order to vote properly, because I didn't remember well all its songs. It has stand out tracks, but also some flaws. I would rate it with a 7.

Anyway, 3121 (the song) is highly valued by orgers, if we consider that Black Sweat obtained a really high place in the Singles Poll (number 22), and 3121 has ranked above Black Sweat in this album poll.

3121 and Te Amo Corazon are the songs I don't like on the album
