Wow I really gotta think about this. Too many great songs. I'll report later but I always refer to the 90's as the lost decade. All media outlets pretty much turned on Prince and therefore most folks have no idea about all of the great songs that he created in this decade. So sad. Screw it. Their loss.

LOL, you´re absolutely right about that. I love a lot of Prince´s fast funky stuff as well, but I have 2 be honest and say that I absolutely LOVE his ballads / slow jams. And BTW, I would also like 2 add "Old Friends 4 sale" 2 the list if I can? I know it was written in the 80´s but it wasn´t really realesed until ´99, was it??

I'd say it counts, especially since it was heavily reworked for it's 1999 release. Fans often complain about how much worse the 1999 version is than the original 80s bootleg. Personally, I think the official version is better.

Man, people got some strange tastes. I can't believe "Walk Don't Walk" has come up multiple times.

Also, why wouldn't Pink Cashmere, Joy In Repitition, etc. count? How do you know Cream, Gett Off, etc. weren't written in the 80s? More than likely, everything from Graffiti Bridge was written in the 80s.

I see some people mentioning 'One Of Us' as one of his best 90's songs....I wonder if you can really count that as "Prince song" since it's a cover. Songs that are written by others but written for Prince should count but cover songs?? hmmm...(Shhh is an exception since Prince wrote that one)
