I was just listening to it for the first time ever (because of smoothcriminal12's thread) as I saw this thread. The song starts with a drum track (like Automatic) and I found the drum track surprisingly similar with the one on Automatic. Could just be me of course.

I can see where you get that from...Hand To Mouth's drumbeat sounds very Automatic-ish.

Dave, so true! For examle, "Do Me Baby" ----> "How does It Feel?" (which is a tribute to Prince) Notice the same number of syllables in the title, the constant repetition of the song title, the high voice, among other obvious similarities. And to top it off D'angelo drops out of sight soon afterwards. Sounds like something Prince would do.
