Do you own any PRINCE "personal" memorabilia

You know.. I wonder things like: what ever happened to the jacket that Prince was wearing on the cover of "Controversy"? Was it auctioned off for charity or something? Who's hands did it wind up in? Is it in some Rock N Roll museum?

Does any previously "Prince owned" or "Stage worn" stuff ever show up on Ebay?

What's the most personal piece of PRINCE memorabilia that you own? Or barring that, what's your prized possession PRINCE related item (signed items, rare items, etc)?

My most prized possession, probably my rare German "gold disc" of ATWIAD. Not that rare in the scheme of things... I also enjoy having the Japanese maxi-single of "Scandalous Sex Suite", my 3 NPG hockey jerseys and sealed "NPG Sampler Experience" and "Jam Of The Year/Face Down (live)" cassettes.

My cousin has one of his guitar picks, and also Sheila's neon drum tape from the "Lovesexy" tour.

I have one of Princes RUDEBOY bottons , and his DIRTYMIND botton, and his guitar pick from a concert that was at a place called Flippers in L.A.in the 80s. I ditched school and watched him warm up for about an hour , then i was front row center, the bottons fell off his trench coat and the pic feel out of his hand, and i picked them up. PRICELESS AND NEVER FOR SALE!!!!!!!QUESTION?????WAS ANYBODY ELES THERE????????

got a John Blackwell drum stick after the soundcheck in sydney 2003...he threw it into the audience and I scrambled to the floor to get it (no one caught it first up LOL)...met him afterwards and he signed it for me "Marti, god bless, John Blackwell" - he was suprised that I'd flown over from New Zealand to see Prince & the NPG smile

a few years back (2007) I met Maceo Parker in Christchurch aftr he played a show, met him and his band backstage and he signed his latest cd for me (and my 2003 Prince concert ticket as well...)

my prized possession (although I didn't get the signatures myself) is a Rolling Stone magazine (with P and Vanity on the cover) that Prince and Vanity signed (on separate occasions) - Prince signed it in Philadelphia 1988 after catching a theatre show...I'm not sure when it was signed by Vanity....I got it from a very good friend who had no reason to lie to me - he wanted another fan to have it - not to make $ from it.... this was before Ebay was around too BTW LOL

not bad for a kiwi boy - considering Prince hasn't even played in New Zealand ..... yet...

oh wow really!? Thats awesome!!! No lesson in the world could be more important than that to miss! I wanted to know what possibly made all the buttons drop off and why the pick flew from his hand (unless he threw it smile )

First of all if u have been a real Prince fan for 30 years like me, u would know that in the begining Prince wore NO CLOTHES EXCEPT A TRENCH COAT , that always came off during his shows, Second , during those days the venues were very small (if u have been a fan since then u would know, but anyways), being in the front row like i often am , it was very easy to just reach out and pick things up off of the stage , but i guess u have never been in the front row or u would know, he wasnt throwing things back then.

just thinking the same thing, considering the other poster was genuinely interested and friendly, that reply sounds very condescending and petty.

I stole rocks from Paisley Park. They were part of the landscape near the front- their sort of grayish purple, definately "decorative" rocks brought in specially for PP- not ole run of the mill outside rocks lol

U guys know what I mean? I was kinda confused 4 minute wondering if I said something wrong, lol. But whatever, its alright.

Nope, I wasn't a fan for 30 something years becuz my mother was still a child during this time and hadnt had me yet. however, being a fan for only 3 years, i know that he barley wore anything besides maybe a scant top & bikini briefs during the DM tour, but if ur referring to Controversy, then he'sworn those schoolboy clothes with the signature trench coat on (sometimes w/ buttons).

Yes, the venues were small, either clubs or theatres.

No, never been in front row.

Doesnt take 30+ to qualify as a real Prince enthusiast or fan. Just takes the love 4 his music, knowledge and heart. Excuse me for being interested in the emphasis of your items. Hope u never lose them to karma sweetheart

The only thing I have with Prince's DNA on it is a guitar pic he gave me @ lovesexy tour.

Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

One of Prince's personal Purple Rain tambourines that he gave away after using it. (I'm not promoting any stealing from Prince.) I also have Prince and Wendy guitar pics from the Purple Rain tour. Among a few other things.

I got a Undertaker CD in pritsine condition that one of Prince band member gave me years ago.

I remember in Paris Zenith 98, Prince during the introduction song, threw a big gold chain in the crowd and one of the fan grabbed it.

The security guy tried to get it back but did not managed... eek

I wonder how much was it... confused

It was the big gold bracelet you can see on NPS album cover, does anybody else was there ?

Various drum sticks

Copy of The Exodus that Prince gave me

A studio reel of a released song

A studio reel of an unreleased song

NPG shirt from the band

Signed Parade

Signed Lovesexy album

Signed Diamonds and Pearls album

Wendys Wayfarer sunglasses

Lisas broken PR tamborine

Mikos hat

One shoulder pad from a shirt that got ripped apart by fans in Head!

There's other stuff, but as everthing bar the gold disc in in storage, I can't remember it all.
