noon rendez-vous

originally, in prince's bootlegged recordings, the beautiful song "noon rendez-vous" ends in a refrain-like segment, repeatedly phrasing "sitting in this café / waiting for my baby". why is this part not included in sheela's e's official version of this song? as a composition, it sounds unfinished like that. which of course is also cool...

he probably improvised that part for the rehearsals/live versions that he did after Sheila's version was already recorded/released.

i agree, it totally makes the song.
