Come Test Pressing

Does anyone else agree with me that this is Prince's best album/era post-Lovesexy?

Come

Interactive

Endorphinmachine (no cowbell!)

Space

Papa

Loose

Race

Dark

Letitgo

Strays of the World

If you take the best versions of these songs and put them together, you get an album that is vastly superior to the Gold Experience or anything else.

Sure I know it is "cheating" to combine the test pressing and the released album but it makes some kind of point.

I also use the long version of Race from the video..one of Prince coolest vids too.

He also did some killer live show at this time..that SF show when his voice was all hoarse, the Stars and Bars Monaco show, the Glam Slam Miami shows and many others. He captured a lot of his 80s level genius at this time...then it was mostly gone aftewards..

I'd switch out the last two tracks for something else, but yeah overall this is the better version - Come NEEDS Interactive and Endorphinemachine.

Yeah last two tracks are nothing extraordindary...but yes Interactive and Endorphin are two of his best 90s tracks...although that list is pretty long.

Don't forget 18 and Over!

Come is Prince's best 90's album to me in any configuration. (Grafitti Bridge doesn't count since all those songs were written in the 80's)

A great album that many over look. Much better than The Gold Experience.

Oh trust me, it will and SHOULD be forgotten. Ugh...

It's just rappin' over the Come music.
