Fun during Prince and The RevOLUTION rehearsal

I heard a recording of rehearsal where Prince and his band perform

funny versions of other people music.

They did :Our House ,James Bond Theme and Synth instrumental

resembling Stevie Nicks Stand Bck.

When was this recorded and was that kind of (unproffesional)behavior a regular thing on his rehearsals?

Who did funny male vocals? Prince? who sings Our House in operetic manner Wendy or Lisa?

That was back during the summer of 1983.

Unprofessional behaviour? This is a guy who is a serious musician but is also dumb enough to think that Tony M was a legendary talent who would help his band. Despite Prince being the best ever, his career is filled with dumb decisions, and has not always been that professional.

How is it unprofessional?? They're just having some fun, showing just how comfortable they are with each other.

Don't think that unproffesional is bad word.it's just very untypical for Prince

to have friend type of rehearsal like these one,it sounds like good friends

having a good time compared to a

latter more serious rehearsals.

I think it's fair to say we've heard a variety of moods captured on the circulating rehearsals: from his parody of DMSR (DPIP, I think it was), to his screaming at Mark to "put down the muthaf**king magazine" in the Purple Rush series

That comment was said towards Lisa, not Mark.
